Basic info

  • Servings: 15
  • Time: 1 hour + soaking and boiling times
  • Equipment: regular cooking utensils, blender

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ kg veggie meat
    substitute: tofu
  • ½ kg sitaw black beans, soaked overnight and boiled for 1 hour
  • optional: 2 medium bell peppers
  • optional: sayote (chayote) or puso ng saging (banana blossoms)
  • 10 pcs chili
  • 200 ml vinegar
  • 100 g ginger, cut into strips
  • salt

Directions

Note: These directions are minimal as much of the information is provided in the video above.

  1. Sauté veggie meat and ginger.
  2. Add some chili.
  3. Blend black beans.
  4. Add blended black beans.
  5. Add water.
  6. Add rest of chili.
  7. Add vinegar.
